How to contact a member who submitted a Birth Brief

Contacting a member of the Berkshire FHS

If you have an interest in a name on a Birth Brief you can contact the person who submitted it provided that they are still a member. You can contact them by post and, in many cases, by email.

Even if the submitter is no longer a member we will be able to provide you with a computer printout of the birth brief.

Note:The Birth Brief Id (BBId) normally corresponds to the membership number, with an additional letter suffix if more than one birth brief has been submitted for what is, or once was, a family membership.

Contact via email

If, on the Birth Briefs Index pages, the Birth Brief Id (BBid) number is followed by email the member who submitted the brief can be contacted by email.
  • send your email toemail Address for Member Contact
If you use any other address processing of your message will be delayed
  • include NNNN (the membership number part of the BBid) and the Name you are interested in in the subject of the message
  • include in the message a short statement of your interest and say that you found the entry in the 'Birth Briefs Index on the BerksFHS website'.
  • Do NOT include an attachment.

You will receive an acknowledgement when your message is forwarded to the member - this should normally take place within 10 days.
