Sample Birth Brief

Birth Briefs will be supplied using the PAF (Personal Ancestral File) Pedigree report. This produces (see sample below) 5 generations on one A4 sheet.

For each person the following information is provided:

Name
B: Date of Birth/Baptism
P: Place of Birth/Baptism
M: Date of Marriage
P: Place of Marriage
D: Date of Death/Burial
P: Place of Death/Burial

If all the information cannot be displayed in the designated space the 'name' will be abbreviated; individual parts of other information may be abbreviated or the whole item truncated.

For people who were born/baptised less than 110 years ago (or for whom there is no birth date) and no death/burial date is provided only the name is given.

The 'last' generation is split. This means that the 'husband' appears in column 5 and the 'wife' in column 6.
