Putting Your Name on the Map
Ancestors moved around more than we think they did but surname distributions stay surprisingly constant over long time periods. Analysing and mapping various data sources can pinpoint surname origins and migration patterns. The programs Surname Atlas, GenMap UK and LDS Companion will be demonstrated.

The Records & History of the Royal Berkshire Regiment
What can we find out about the Berkshire men who fought in Sudan, the Boer War and on numerous fronts in WW1 and WW2? David has also offered to identify military artefacts brought to the meeting - but no weapons please!
