Wallingford St Peter
St Peter’s church in Wallingford is noticeable for the 18th century architecture and its spire. The church is now redundant but it is the burial place of Judge William Blackstone who lived nearby Castle Priory. He was the author of Commentaries on the Laws of England which was used by the founding fathers of America as they drew up the American Constitution. The church can be found close by the single lane bridge across the Thames at OS grid ref SU609895
St Peter's Church
The Baptist church nearby is also from the 18th century with more modern additions.
