McBride Stevens Schofield Website

Berkshire Family History Society — for family historians like you. Not everyone has Berkshire ancestors, although some of us do. Equally, some members have no Berkshire ancestors. But all family historians, from beginners to the most seasoned researchers, recognise a good family history society when they find one.

  • Join today — if you are a family historian living in Reading, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Newbury,Windsor or Wokingham...

  • Join today — if you are a family historian who lives elsewhere in the Royal County of Berkshire, or close to it...
  • Join today — if you are researching Berkshire ancestors —  wherever in the world you may live

  • Join today — if you would like extended membership to 30th June 2019 (The usual membership year is from 1st July to 30th June). You receive all four copies of the society's quarterly magazine, the Berkshire Family Historian, for the year too

  • Around half of society members live in the Royal County. Four in 10 live elsewhere and right across the UK. One member in 10 is overseas, mainly in Australia, the USA, Canada and New Zealand.

DOWNLOAD YOUR MEMBERSHIP FORM TODAY

The form opens in a new window. Print it, complete it in full, and return it to the Membership Secretary.

Don't forget, from 25th May the law is changing and the society needs you to let us know how you would like to be kept up to date on society products, services, news and developments. Your membership form is one way for you to give these consents. An email with your preferences (email, phone and post) to the membership secretary is another.

The membership form includes a Gift Aid declaration form for UK taxpayers too. Because the society is a charity, run entirely by volunteers, your membership payment counts as a donation. The next page explains the importance of Gift Aid to the society.

All UK taxpayers are eligible to make a declaration.
