Windsor, Slough and Maidenhead

This branch meets on the last Tuesday evening of each month excepting August and December at

Christ Church United Reformed Church
William Street
Windsor
SL4 1BA

Doors open at 7.15pm and meetings begin at 7.45pm

Visitors are always welcome

There is only limited parking at the Church itself but there is a multi-storey carpark on the corner of Victoria Street and Alexandra Road, immediately opposite William Street.

How to find Christ Church URC
(this uses the streetmap web site and opens a new tab or window)

The grid reference is Landranger map  175/966766

The branch has an excellent lending library for members who may borrow books, magazines etc or consult reference books.  There are also some data CDs relevant to Berkshire records.

Meetings comprise a talk on various topics of interest to family researchers no matter whether a complete beginner or an 'expert' of many years standing. The talks are given by a speaker who is an acknowledged expert in his or her own field. Afterwards there is time for questions followed by tea and a biscuit. There is always an excellent raffle which is a fund booster as well as a monthly newsletter giving details of the current evening and the following monthly meeting. Also included are items of interest, forthcoming exhibitions, family history fairs and other items of interest.
