Use of Computer Packages... for Genealogy and Family HistoryContents |
Barney Tyrwhitt-Drake in Family Tree Magazine starts off a review of Clooz by saying . . . . .
'Back in the good or bad old days of generalogical computing in the 1980s it was easier to answer a question such as, "What is the best computer program to help me record and print my family history?" Nowadays there's such a plethora of programs on the market, that all seem to do more or lesss the same thing with a few more bells and sometimes a few less whistles, making this question almost impossible to answer.'
- to find out what programs other members use
- to hear how other members find the program(s) they use
- to identify good and poor (or non-existent) aspects of each program
- Some members have a Family History program but have never really used it - why?
