Computing Activities for Family

- The society has a Computing
Branch which meets in Early. The location moves to Woodley from Oct
2004.

- A Broadband connection is available at the Research
Centre and the computers can be used at any time during open hours to
access the
Internet. You can search data bases such as the 1901 Census and LDS
FamilySearch online and also our large collection of Family History
CDs. There is no need to book - just turn up.. On Tuesday
Evenings (from 7pm to 9pm) and 2nd
Sunday Afternoons experts are normally
available to answer computer questions.

- Ad hoc Computing
Workshops are held when announced from time to time on Saturday
or Sunday
at the Research Centre to help members
and non-members in the use of their computer and its software for
Family History. These are hands-on sessions and have to be booked.
