Margaret Woodall stepped in at short notice as
Jill Muir was unable to attend because of illness.
Despite the day having been one of heavy rain,
Margaret and Maureen Jones arrived early and set
up the markers ready for the recorders. About ten
people turned up and they all decided that
regardless of the now fine rain that they would
persevere. Margaret reported that 80 stones had
been planned and recorded that evening.
These have now been checked and typed up by
Margaret and await another foray into the larger
churchyard on another day.
Apparently a great time was had by all.
