Visit to the Oxfordshire Museum Resource Centre, Standlake

15 Vale of the White Horse branch members, along with the Berkshire Family
History Society chairman, Jocie McBride, visited the Oxfordshire Museum Resource
Centre at Standlake.
The Keeper of Reserve Collections, Kirsty Bell took us on a
guided tour. She told us all about the history of the building and about the
artefacts stored there ready to go out to Museums around the county. She also
told us about the conservation and restoration work that goes on there.
