are many areas where volunteer help is always needed. These include:

We
welcome volunteers to help with our projects. There are always
opportunities for transcribing (some of which can be done at home even
in locations well away from Berkshire) and data entry into computer
programs (which can be done in the Research Centre or at home).
We particularly need those experienced with
computers and programmes. Examples are
1.
Those experienced with spreadsheets and databases
2. Those experienced with Family History Programmes
3. To input hand-written transcriptions into a
spreadsheet
4. To transcribe and check transcriptions of
registers at the Berkshire Record Office.
5. To search and retrieve BerksFHS records from
databases for members
with
any queries
