We are looking for that special someone who is able to organise a team and carry out routine record keeping. We already have a document listing the current holdings of the Berkshire record office and Reading Local History Library. It also has all the Churchyards, which have not yet been transcribed. All that needs to be done is to assign a team leader to a churchyard and give them the relevant paperwork, clipboards, pencils, and work gear to do the job with the volunteers who will be helping.
The job can be done from home if you have access to a computer and an email address. You might have to make occasional trips into the Research Center to hand over some of the items mentioned above but even this small outing could be handled long distance with the right arrangements to the team leader.
