Members' Surname Interests - contact by post

You can contact a member of Berkshire Family History Society
(eg  if you think you have a common surname interest)
- as long as you know his or her membership number

You do NOT have to be a society member to use this service

When the member cannot be contacted by email, write to the Society, quoting your email address, at:

Alan Brooker
Berkshire Family History Society (ref: WS/MemC)
6 Meadow Way
Old Windsor
United Kingdom

Quote the membership number and surname interest(s) (or your other reason for making contact) of the member you wish to contact

enclose a letter to the member, and an envelope in which it can be posted

enclose a self-addressed (unstamped) envelope for the member's reply, and

enclose 3 second class stamps or 3 IRCs (International Reply Coupons) that you can buy at your local Post Office
(one for the letter to the member, one for a reply from the member and one as a donation to the society)

The society will forward your letter to the member.

If that person can no longer be contacted, you will be advised and one stamp/IRC will be returned to you.

If you receive no response within 2 months,  please email the Member Contact as above.
