Fifty bound volumes containing the names and sometimes addresses of over a million people who donated a guinea to the Wesleyan Methodist Million Guinea Fund in memeory of their founder, John Wesley (1703-91), are kept at Methodist Central Hall in Westminster, London. The money was used to purchase the land and build Central Hall, as well as to further the cause at home and overseas. Some additional donations were made in  memory of deceased loved ones or those who had moved away. This transcript relates to Reading Circuit only.
